Ironman Hawaiian Vacation
Foster Grant and the Army & Air Force Exchange Service is offering military shoppers in the continental United States an opportunity to win a trip for two to the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Hawaii.
The winner will receive airfare, transportation and $500 for the trip, a prize package valued at $4,700. Now through June 30, authorized shoppers 18 years and older can run, bike or swim to the Fort Campbell Exchange for a chance to win.
The Ironman sweepstakes will be awarded on or about July 14. No purchase is necessary to enter.
Safety Checkpoint
The Tennessee Highway Patrol and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting a sobriety roadside safety checkpoint June 19 on Highway 12 in Montgomery County.
Impaired driving is a serious crime that kills more than 16,000 people and injures 305,000 others every year in the United States.
Troopers and Deputies will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment. They will target those who operate a vehicle while impaired and take corrective actions for other violations observed while ensuring the protection of all motorists.
Town hall meetings
Campbell Crossing Communities will be hosting a series of town hall meetings on the topic of crime prevention. The meetings are scheduled to take place from 6 until 7 p.m. at the following locations:

•Woodlands, July 15

Post-Wide graduation
Are you (or someone you know) a recent college graduate or soon-to-be graduate?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in the 2015 Fort Campbell Post-Wide Graduation Celebration to be held Aug. 21 at Wilson Theater.
Eligible for participation are: active duty/reserve military members, Family members, retirees, veterans and civilians assigned or with ties to the Fort Campbell community.
If you will be graduating in 2015 and are unable to “walk” at your college or university’s graduation ceremony and would like to participate in this year’s ceremony, you may pick up an application that can be emailed to rebecca.c.murphy4.civ@mail.mil no later than July 31.
Job fair
Fort Campbell is hosting a Job Fair Wednesday, inside gate 1 at Cole Park Commons, 1610 William C. Lee Road, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
More than 70 local, national, international employers and federal agencies that are actively hiring are scheduled to participate. Industries represented at the job fair include oil drilling, automotive manufacturing, logistics and transportation, information technology, health care and military head hunters.
All non-military visitors must provide their full name, date of birth and Social Security number at either the gate 4 or 7 Fort Campbell Visitors to determine eligibility to enter the installation. Gate hours
Due to the upcoming training holiday weekend, the following gates will be closed from Friday through Sunday:
•Gate 2
•Angels Gate
•Mabry Gate
Gates 3 and 6 will be open Friday from 4:30 until 9:30 a.m. and from 3 until 6 p.m., in order to help facilitate traffic flow during peak hours.
Gates 3 and 6 will be closed Saturday and Sunday.
Gates 1, 4, 7 and 10 will continue normal hours of operation during the training holiday weekend. Gates will reopen at their normal operating times Monday.
D.W. Rec renovations

Road Work
Work has begun on William C. Lee Road from Bastogne Avenue to Tennessee Avenue/101st Airborne Division Road. The road will be widened from two lanes to three lanes. It is scheduled to be completed in August.
The speed limit is being lowered from 35 mph to 25 during construction. Drivers are urged to use caution.
IndianHead reunion

Sgt. Audie Murphy Club
The Sgt. Audie Murphy Club meets from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month at the Oasis Dining Facility (5th Special Forces Group), 2991 Indiana Ave. The meetings are open to SAMC members stationed at Fort Campbell, as well as retired service members who are SAMC members.
Intramural Sports Calendar
MWR Sports and Fitness office has released the 2015 Intramural and Recreation Sports Calendar to include basketball, racquetball, flag football, softball, volleyball, track, soccer and more.
Eligible participants for brigade, battalion and company level teams must be active duty military assigned to the unit.
Eligible participants for individual, women, co-ed and recreational teams must have a valid ID card and be at least age 18.

No UNAUTHORIZED Boots
As per guidance from the division command sergeant major, no unauthorized boots will be allowed to be worn while in uniform on post. This is in accordance with AR 670-1.

Retiree Council

DOD Warrior Games
The Department of Defense Warrior Games 2015 will take place June 19-28 at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va.
DOD Warrior Games is an annual sporting competition bringing together wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans from across the country.
The games will feature eight sporting events with approximately 200 athletes representing teams from the Marine Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force and U.S. Special Operations Command.
