Two-day clinic
All Fort Campbell Soldiers and veterans are invited to a two-day bike clinic through the Wounded Warrior Project from 9 a.m. until noon July 21-22 at the Warrior Transition Battalion’s Adaptive Reconditioning office, 2194 Kentucky Ave. The event is to introduce service members – wounded or not – to the adaptive cycling program. The clinic is geared to returning riders with classroom instruction on bikes, fitness, nutrition, Soldier Ride and Wounded Warrior Project programs.

Increased range activity
Unit training through July 20 will consist of increased aviation, artillery firing and troop movement at Fort Campbell’s Training Complex and impact areas west of Market Garden Road along with areas to the north and east of North Impact Area.
Military training involving aircraft, maneuvers and weapons firing is an important aspect of maintaining the unmatched Air Assault capability of the 101st Airborne Division and the readiness of all units stationed at Fort Campbell.
This notice of significant range activity is provided as a courtesy for residents of neighboring communities. Increased noise and vibrations may be experienced during this period.

Ortho Clinic phone number
Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Orthopedic Clinic is currently undergoing renovations as part of the Patient Centered Medical Home expansion of the Young Eagle Medical Home. The phone lines at the Ortho Clinic’s reception desk have been reduced to one main line during the transition. Patients may reach the clinic at 270-798-8426. As an alternate, patients may call 270-461-2401.
Town hall meetings
Campbell Crossing Communities will be hosting its final town hall meetings on the topic of crime prevention. The meeting is scheduled from 6 until 7 p.m. at the Woodlands Community Center, Wednesday.

PostWide graduation
Are you (or someone you know) a recent college graduate or soon-to-be graduate?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in the 2015 Fort Campbell Postwide Graduation Celebration to be held Aug. 21 at Wilson Theater.
Eligible for participation are: active duty/reserve military members, Family members, retirees, veterans and civilians assigned or with ties to the Fort Campbell community.
If you will be graduating in 2015 and are unable to “walk” at your college or university’s graduation ceremony and would like to participate in this year’s ceremony, you may pick up an application that can be emailed to rebecca.c.murphy4.civ@mail.mil no later than July 31.

Intramural Sports Calendar
MWR Sports and Fitness office has released the 2015 Intramural and Recreation Sports Calendar to include basketball, racquetball, flag football, softball, volleyball, track, soccer and more.
Eligible participants for brigade, battalion and company level teams must be active duty military.
Eligible participants for individual, women, co-ed and recreational teams must have a valid ID card and be at least age 18.

Sgt. Audie Murphy Club
The Sgt. Audie Murphy Club meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month at the Oasis Dining Facility (5th Special Forces Group), 2991 Indiana Ave. The meetings are open to SAMC members stationed at Fort Campbell, as well as retired service members who are SAMC members.
Warrant Officer Association
The Fort Campbell Screaming Eagle Chapter of the Warrant Officer Association meets the third Tuesday of every month at Cole Park Commons in the A Shau/Bastogne rooms. The meeting starts at noon. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/fortcampbell.woa.
Road Work
Work has begun on William C. Lee Road from Bastogne Avenue to Tennessee Avenue/101st Airborne Division Road. The road will be widened from two lanes to three lanes. It is scheduled to be completed in August.
The speed limit is being lowered from 35 mph to 25 during construction. Drivers are urged to use caution.
No UNAUTHORIZED Boots
As per guidance from the division command sergeant major, no unauthorized boots will be allowed to be worn while in uniform on post. This is in accordance with AR 670-1.

Retiree Council
If you want to help other retired Soldiers by assisting them with information about benefits and services available to the retired community, the Fort Campbell Retiree Council is actively recruiting for Army retirees (active, guard, reserve and disability retirement) to serve a four-year term on the council.
